Spring Tool Donation Drive

  • The Plant 1400 W 46th St Chicago (map)

Don’t trash your used tools! Donate them to the Chicago Tool Library!

Bring your used or new tools that are in good, working condition to one of our Spring Tool Donation Drive drop-off sites. Tools must be working and we cannot accept cordless tools with no battery or a dead battery, or gas-powered tools.

Our first drop-off location will launch at Plant Chicago's monthly farmer's market! Don't miss this great monthly event and the chance to clean out your garage for a good cause!

If you can't make it to the farmer's market, don't worry! This drop-off location will be open every Saturday in April from 12-3.

Donated tools will be sorted, cleaned, and inventoried to add to the Chicago Tool Library's collection. The Chicago Tool Library is a nonprofit organization that will open its doors this summer to begin lending tools and equipment to all Chicagoans so they can grow, improve, learn, share, and build.

For questions, to schedule a drop-off for a large tool, OR **to inquire about hosting a drop-off location** email team@chicagotoollilbrary.org or call 765-412-3737.
